The main functions of the device are monitoring both the location of the car and the condition of the wheel, as well as the speed characteristics of the car. The effect of using such a device:

In addition to UMDV, Shirinkin A. spoke about a wireless electronic pneumatic brake (BEPT) for freight trains. The advantages of BEPT include reducing fuel consumption, reducing the "harmful" impact on the path, increasing the local speed, etc.
